नई दिल्ली। राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन में चंदे के दान को लेकर विवाद थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। पहले चीनी दूतावास की तरफ से फाउंडेशन को दिए चंदे से विवाद उठा था और अब नया मामला सामने आया है जिसमें पता चला है कि वित्त वर्ष 2007-08 के दौरान उस समय की रियल्टी कंपनी यूनिटेक कंपनी ने भी राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन में चंदा दान किया था।

विवाद दान किए चंदे को लेकर नहीं है बल्कि विवाद तब पैदा हो रहा है जब 2008 की शुरुआत में यूनिटेक की सहायक कंपनी यूनिटेक वायरलेस को देशभर के लिए सिर्फ 1658 करोड़ रुपए में टेलिकॉम लाइसेंस दे दिया था। उस समय पहले आओ और पहले पाओ की तर्ज पर यह लाइसेंस दिया गया था।  बाद में टेलिकॉम स्पेक्ट्रम आबंटन को लेकर घोटाले के आरोप लगे और इसी तरह की डील्स 2G टेलिकॉम घोटाला कहलाई।

राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन को मिलने वाले चंदे को लेकर भारतीय जनता पार्टी हाल के दिनों में कांग्रेस पर निशाना साध रही है। हाल ही में भाजपा अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा ने आरोप लगाया कि सोनिया गांधी की अध्यक्षता वाले राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन को 2005 से 2006 के बीच लगातार अनुदान राशि मिली। इसके अलावा ‘‘टैक्स हैवेन’’ कहे जाने वाले देश लक्जेमबर्ग से 2006 से 2009 के बीच तथा व्यवसायिक हितों वाले गैर सरकारी संगठनों से भी इस फाउंडेशन को अनुदान राशि मिली है। उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय हितों को ‘‘तिलांजली’’ दे दी गई और एक परिवार द्वारा संचालित फाउंडेशन ने अनुदान राशि स्वीकार की।

सरकार ने बुधवार को एक अंतर-मंत्रालयी टीम गठित की जो राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन (आरजीएफ) एवं नेहरू-गांधी परिवार से संबंधित दो अन्य न्यासों द्वारा धनशोधन और विदेशी चंदा सहित विभिन्न कानूनों के कथित उल्लंघन के मामलों की जांच करेगी। कांग्रेस ने सरकार के कदम को ‘दुर्भावनापूर्ण साजिश’ करार देते हुए कहा कि वह एवं उसका नेतृत्व इन धमकाने वाले प्रयासों से डरने वाले नहीं हैं। दूसरी तरफ, भाजपा ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार यह आदेश हाल ही में सार्वजनिक हुई जानकारी का ‘‘स्वाभाविक’’ परिणाम है।

Zoom rolls out new hardware subscription service

Zoom Video Communications Inc said on Tuesday it launched a hardware subscription service, seeking to make its teleconferencing app more accessible to users by allowing them to choose subscription options for phones and meeting rooms.

The plans for Zoom Phone have been priced between $5.99 and $60 per month, based on the device users opt for, while the cost for hardware services for Zoom Rooms is in the range of $75 to $200 per month, according to the company’s website.

Zoom has partnered with third-party hardware manufacturers such as DTEN, Neat, Poly, and Yealink for the phone and meeting room devices.

The company’s teleconferencing platform, which has seen a surge in users as the COVID-19 pandemic forced millions around the world to stay indoors, has faced backlash over privacy and security issues, prompting it to roll out major upgrades.

The launch comes nearly a week after Zoom said it has made significant progress in a transparency report that details information related to requests it receives for data, records, or content, adding that the report will be out later this year.

Zoom on Tuesday also joined a list of major U.S. internet companies, including Facebook Inc, Microsoft Corp and Alphabet Inc’s Google, to have suspended processing of requests for user data from Hong Kong authorities while they study the new law.

SBI cuts MCLR by 5-10 bps for shorter tenors


नई दिल्‍ली। देश के सबसे बड़े बैंक भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एसबीआई) ने बुधवार को कहा कि उसने कम अवधि के कर्ज पर कोष की सीमांत लागत आधारित ब्याज दर (एमसीएलआर) में 0.05 से लेकर 0.10 प्रतिशत तक कटौती की है। यह कटौती 10 जुलाई से लागू होगी। एसबीआई के जारी वक्तव्य में कहा गया है कि एमसीएलआर में यह कटौती तीन माह तक के लिए दिए जाने वाले कर्ज पर लागू होगी। इसका मकसद कर्ज उठाव और मांग को बढ़ावा देना है।

एमसीएलआर में की गई इस कटौती के बाद तीन माह तक की अवधि के कर्ज पर बैंक की ब्याज दर घटकर 6.65 प्रतिशत वार्षिक रह जाएगी। यह दर बैंक की बाहरी बेंचमार्क आधारित ब्याज दर (ईबीएलआर) के बराबर हो गई है। स्टेट बैंक की एमसीएलआर दर में की गई यह लगातार 14वीं कटौती है। इस कटौती के बाद भी यह दर बाजार में सबसे कम है। 

एचडीएफसी बैंक ने सभी अवधि के लिए एमसीएलआर में 0.20 प्रतिशत कटौती

देश के सबसे बड़ी निजी बैंक एचडीएफसी बैंक ने मंगलवार को अपने सभी अवधि के कर्ज के लिए कोष की सीमांत लागत आधारित ब्याज दर (एमसीएलआर) में 20 आधार अंक या 0.20 प्रतिशत की कटौती का ऐलान किया था। नई दरें 7 जुलाई, 2020 से प्रभावी हो चुकी हैं। पिछले महीने भी एचडीएफसी बैंक ने एमसीएलआर दरों में 5 आधार अंकों की कटौती की थी।

नई कटौती के बाद ओवरनाइट एमसीएलआर घटकर 7.10 प्रतिशत, एक माह के लिए एमसीएलआर 7.15 प्रतिशत और एक साल के लिए कर्ज पर एमसीएलआर 7.45 प्रतिशत हो गई है। तीन साल के लिए एमसीएलआर 7.65 प्रतिशत हो गई है।

Coronavirus: पटना में एक सप्ताह के लिए लॉकडाउन का ऐलान

पटना: पटना में एक सप्ताह के लिए लॉकडाउन की घोषणा की गई है। पटना के जिलाधिकारी कुमार रवि ने कोरोना वायरस की रोकथाम को लेकर यह बड़ा फैसला लिया है। कोरोना संक्रमण के बढ़ते मामले को देखते हुए डीएम ने आज अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की। इस बैठक में 7 दिनों के लिए पटना में लॉकडाउन की घोषणा की गई है। 10 जुलाई से लेकर 16 जुलाई तक यानी कि एक हफ्ते के लिए लॉकडाउन की घोषणा की गई है।

आपको बता दें कि पटना जिले में कोरोना वायरस के अब तक एक हजार मामले सामने आ चुके हैं । वहीं प्रदेश में अबतक 98 लोगों की मौत कोरोना संक्रमण की वजह से हो चुकी है।

This app lets you live out your ‘vicarious John Oliver fantasies’ on video calls

With video calling tools going viral due to the pandemic, Silicon Valley has set out to make them better. Phil Libin, ex-CEO of note-taking app Evernote, yesterday announced a new product called Mmhmm. The company has raised $4.5 million in funding from Sequoia Capital and plans to bring new features for video conferencing.

The software itself though it not a video calling tool. Instead, it works alongside popular software like Zoom, Google Meet and even YouTube. It’s a take on how Zoom changes the background when you’re on a video call, but allows more customizability.

The app is called Mmhmm, because Libin says “it’s important to have a name you can say while eating,” and users can use it to change the background in a video or even their image on it. Users can have a Saturday Night Live-like slide behind them, over their shoulder. It’s similar to how TV hosts do talk shows. “It lets you live out your vicarious John Oliver fantasies,” Libin said in a video announcing the launch.

Users will also be able to put their Instagram photos behind them. They can put up slides over their shoulder and shrink own image, so that people can see both the person and their screens. It even allows users to change their image into a hologram and make it appear in points on the slide that they want to point to.

Mmhmm can also be used to insert a video in the background, or use an animated background. If you need to show your phone, the app will let you share the phone’s screen through Apple’s Airplay. It’s unclear whether the same will be available through Bluetooth.

“It’s not trying to replace how you have meetings,” Libin said. The company will also add a feature called Dynamic Decks soon, which is just like a Powerpoint slide but with more modern and advanced features. Multiple people can present using the same screen too.

The app is currently in an early invite-only beta right now.

सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक, बताया जा रहा है कि आतंकी हमले के वक्त कोई भी सुरक्षा कर्मी बीजेपी नेता के साथ नहीं था। बीजेपी नेता की सुरक्षा में तैनात सभी 8 सुरक्षाकर्मियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।

नई दिल्ली। राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन में चंदे के दान को लेकर विवाद थमने का नाम नहीं ले रहा है। पहले चीनी दूतावास की तरफ से फाउंडेशन को दिए चंदे से विवाद उठा था और अब नया मामला सामने आया है जिसमें पता चला है कि वित्त वर्ष 2007-08 के दौरान उस समय की रियल्टी कंपनी यूनिटेक कंपनी ने भी राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन में चंदा दान किया था।

विवाद दान किए चंदे को लेकर नहीं है बल्कि विवाद तब पैदा हो रहा है जब 2008 की शुरुआत में यूनिटेक की सहायक कंपनी यूनिटेक वायरलेस को देशभर के लिए सिर्फ 1658 करोड़ रुपए में टेलिकॉम लाइसेंस दे दिया था। उस समय पहले आओ और पहले पाओ की तर्ज पर यह लाइसेंस दिया गया था।  बाद में टेलिकॉम स्पेक्ट्रम आबंटन को लेकर घोटाले के आरोप लगे और इसी तरह की डील्स 2G टेलिकॉम घोटाला कहलाई।

राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन को मिलने वाले चंदे को लेकर भारतीय जनता पार्टी हाल के दिनों में कांग्रेस पर निशाना साध रही है। हाल ही में भाजपा अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा ने आरोप लगाया कि सोनिया गांधी की अध्यक्षता वाले राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन को 2005 से 2006 के बीच लगातार अनुदान राशि मिली। इसके अलावा ‘‘टैक्स हैवेन’’ कहे जाने वाले देश लक्जेमबर्ग से 2006 से 2009 के बीच तथा व्यवसायिक हितों वाले गैर सरकारी संगठनों से भी इस फाउंडेशन को अनुदान राशि मिली है। उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय हितों को ‘‘तिलांजली’’ दे दी गई और एक परिवार द्वारा संचालित फाउंडेशन ने अनुदान राशि स्वीकार की।

सरकार ने बुधवार को एक अंतर-मंत्रालयी टीम गठित की जो राजीव गांधी फाउंडेशन (आरजीएफ) एवं नेहरू-गांधी परिवार से संबंधित दो अन्य न्यासों द्वारा धनशोधन और विदेशी चंदा सहित विभिन्न कानूनों के कथित उल्लंघन के मामलों की जांच करेगी। कांग्रेस ने सरकार के कदम को ‘दुर्भावनापूर्ण साजिश’ करार देते हुए कहा कि वह एवं उसका नेतृत्व इन धमकाने वाले प्रयासों से डरने वाले नहीं हैं। दूसरी तरफ, भाजपा ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार यह आदेश हाल ही में सार्वजनिक हुई जानकारी का ‘‘स्वाभाविक’’ परिणाम है।

Zoom rolls out new hardware subscription service

Zoom Video Communications Inc said on Tuesday it launched a hardware subscription service, seeking to make its teleconferencing app more accessible to users by allowing them to choose subscription options for phones and meeting rooms.

The plans for Zoom Phone have been priced between $5.99 and $60 per month, based on the device users opt for, while the cost for hardware services for Zoom Rooms is in the range of $75 to $200 per month, according to the company’s website.

Zoom has partnered with third-party hardware manufacturers such as DTEN, Neat, Poly, and Yealink for the phone and meeting room devices.

The company’s teleconferencing platform, which has seen a surge in users as the COVID-19 pandemic forced millions around the world to stay indoors, has faced backlash over privacy and security issues, prompting it to roll out major upgrades.

The launch comes nearly a week after Zoom said it has made significant progress in a transparency report that details information related to requests it receives for data, records, or content, adding that the report will be out later this year.

Zoom on Tuesday also joined a list of major U.S. internet companies, including Facebook Inc, Microsoft Corp and Alphabet Inc’s Google, to have suspended processing of requests for user data from Hong Kong authorities while they study the new law.

SBI cuts MCLR by 5-10 bps for shorter tenors


नई दिल्‍ली। देश के सबसे बड़े बैंक भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एसबीआई) ने बुधवार को कहा कि उसने कम अवधि के कर्ज पर कोष की सीमांत लागत आधारित ब्याज दर (एमसीएलआर) में 0.05 से लेकर 0.10 प्रतिशत तक कटौती की है। यह कटौती 10 जुलाई से लागू होगी। एसबीआई के जारी वक्तव्य में कहा गया है कि एमसीएलआर में यह कटौती तीन माह तक के लिए दिए जाने वाले कर्ज पर लागू होगी। इसका मकसद कर्ज उठाव और मांग को बढ़ावा देना है।

एमसीएलआर में की गई इस कटौती के बाद तीन माह तक की अवधि के कर्ज पर बैंक की ब्याज दर घटकर 6.65 प्रतिशत वार्षिक रह जाएगी। यह दर बैंक की बाहरी बेंचमार्क आधारित ब्याज दर (ईबीएलआर) के बराबर हो गई है। स्टेट बैंक की एमसीएलआर दर में की गई यह लगातार 14वीं कटौती है। इस कटौती के बाद भी यह दर बाजार में सबसे कम है। 

एचडीएफसी बैंक ने सभी अवधि के लिए एमसीएलआर में 0.20 प्रतिशत कटौती

देश के सबसे बड़ी निजी बैंक एचडीएफसी बैंक ने मंगलवार को अपने सभी अवधि के कर्ज के लिए कोष की सीमांत लागत आधारित ब्याज दर (एमसीएलआर) में 20 आधार अंक या 0.20 प्रतिशत की कटौती का ऐलान किया था। नई दरें 7 जुलाई, 2020 से प्रभावी हो चुकी हैं। पिछले महीने भी एचडीएफसी बैंक ने एमसीएलआर दरों में 5 आधार अंकों की कटौती की थी।

नई कटौती के बाद ओवरनाइट एमसीएलआर घटकर 7.10 प्रतिशत, एक माह के लिए एमसीएलआर 7.15 प्रतिशत और एक साल के लिए कर्ज पर एमसीएलआर 7.45 प्रतिशत हो गई है। तीन साल के लिए एमसीएलआर 7.65 प्रतिशत हो गई है।

Coronavirus: पटना में एक सप्ताह के लिए लॉकडाउन का ऐलान

पटना: पटना में एक सप्ताह के लिए लॉकडाउन की घोषणा की गई है। पटना के जिलाधिकारी कुमार रवि ने कोरोना वायरस की रोकथाम को लेकर यह बड़ा फैसला लिया है। कोरोना संक्रमण के बढ़ते मामले को देखते हुए डीएम ने आज अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की। इस बैठक में 7 दिनों के लिए पटना में लॉकडाउन की घोषणा की गई है। 10 जुलाई से लेकर 16 जुलाई तक यानी कि एक हफ्ते के लिए लॉकडाउन की घोषणा की गई है।

आपको बता दें कि पटना जिले में कोरोना वायरस के अब तक एक हजार मामले सामने आ चुके हैं । वहीं प्रदेश में अबतक 98 लोगों की मौत कोरोना संक्रमण की वजह से हो चुकी है।
