The class 12 result for Tamil Nadu state board students will be declared on July 19. The TN 12th results will be declared on the official website of the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) and on other websites the DGE would host the result.

As per the latest update from the DGE, the TN 12th result will be released at 11 am on July 19.

Tamil Nadu Class 12 result assessment criteria

This is the first time, the DGE TN has prepared the class 12th result following a new evaluation criteria, prepared by a 10 member committee, as board exams could not be held in the state due sudden surge in COVID-19 cases in the country. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in June had announced that to evaluate class 12 students in the state, 50 percent weightage would be given to class 10 board examination scores.
