Nagpur: The sessions’ court here rejected a bail application of gangster Sahil Sayyad in a case of cheating and forgery registered at Hudkeshwar Police Station. He’s an alleged mastermind in a honey trap audio clip leak case and was arrested by the cops in July last year. He’s also believed to be involved in a series of land frauds, as per the prosecution.
“Considering the nature of his offences along with aggravation and seriousness of his acts, the bail application filed by him is required to be rejected,” additional sessions judge VB Kulkarni said.
Sayyed contended that he’s a social worker and belonged to a reputed family. He said the complainant had filed a false complaint against him of taking over her flat by establishing a physical relationship with her in 2013.
