UP govt allows foreign countries to build guest houses in Ayodhya to promote international religious tourism

Lucknow: Taking a cue from Kushinagar, the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has allowed foreign countries, having large Hindu populations, to build their guest houses in Ayodhya to promote international religious tourism.About a dozen foreign countries have already applied to the state government showing their willingness to construct their guest houses in Lord Rama’s birthplace Ayodhya. ‘Request you to take care of my family’: UP Police constable shoots himself, leaves suicide note for Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow: A Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Nirmal Chaube (55) committed suicide by shooting himself dead with his service pistol near highly-secured Secretariat building on Thursday. In a suicide note, addressed to the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the deceased stated: “He doesn’t want to live due to his long sickness. I request you to take care of my family and children.” According to Lucknow Police, the Constable was posted at the Secretariat building Gate No 7 on Thursday. Lucknow: In less than 24 hours, the Yogi Adityanath government carried out a major administrative reshuffle shifting as many as 58 IAS officers on the eve of three-tier Panchayat polls in Uttar Pradesh. ‘Efforts to rehabilitate all riot-hit Muslims back’: Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind to hand over 66 houses to displaced families in Muzaffarnagar

Lucknow: In a bid to resettle scores of Muslim families displaced after 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind (JUH) will provide houses to 66 such families on March 9. In one of the worst communal clashes in the history of Uttar Pradesh, about 50,000 Muslims were displaced during and after riots in August-September 2013.
