London-based brand manager Jay Beech, who is unemployed (as per his LinkedIn profile), has just found the right way to create his resume. He has created two videos in which he sings about his profile. Beech, who specialises in social media and content creation, posted these videos on Linkedin saying he is ‘open to work’.
Other than describing his expectations, he ensures he thanks his previous employers. While posting on LinkedIn, he stated, “We’ve all seen so many of these posts over the last year and you may feel a wave of sadness when you see yet another but I don’t want that to be the case here.”
After receiving a positive response for his first post, Beech has now created another video where he is grooving to Mamma Mia song’s music but using words describing his profile. Posting the second video, he said, “So I made 2, because everyone loves a sequel and I couldn’t go down as a one hit wonder! Granted, I didn’t realise just how well the first would do.” He thanked everyone for the support. He added the response has been incredible.
His post has been shared by others with the #HireJayBeech. Seeing his post, he has already received responses from many companies (to view comments log in to LinkedIn).
