According to reports, due to the increasing number of COVID-19 positive cases among different IPL franchises, the ongoing edition of Vivo IPL has been suspended for now.
Two KKR squad members tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday due to which the KKR versus RCB game was postponed. The tournament was expected to go on as per schedule after that but CSK coach Laxmipathy Balaji and a support staff member also tested positive on Monday.
Moreover, SRH keeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha was also diagnosed COVID positive on Tuesday after which the decision to suspend the tournament has been taken.
